Shoes shoes shoes. I do admit I have too many pairs of shoes in my wardrobe but which girl can resist to a pair of lovely boots or heels when they are so indulgently sitting on the shelf in the shoes store and staring at you whispering “We know you love us, just get us…”.
OK OK, I know this is just an another girly article. I am though not a typical girly girl but I still do enjoy clothes shopping and sometimes (what in my terms is “sometimes”) can’t resist to getting an another pair of shoes to go with my outfit.
When I first came to the UK I literally could not get a pair of decent boots as I was wandering around the shops and just couldn’t find a good price and quality combination. My only affordable choice as a student was Barratts since they also do 10% discount for students on non-sale items.
I am a fan of leather shoes: suede, coloured leather, brown/black leather, I also like canvas – all of those work for me. However, leather or suede are usual not affordable. Plus if you got a pair of leather shoes you would have probably paid a lot and then you are very reluctant to get rid of old shoes as they have cost you a fortune!
I agree – too much waffle in this article, it’s just too much going on in my head today.

Shoes stores in the UK
I will list some of my favourite and the most popular stores. I will also try to avoid repeating myself and listing general clothing stores where you can also can get some decent shoes. TopShop & Topman, Next, Burton, River Island, TKMaxx, Evans, Dorothy Perkins, Debenhams – all sell shoes. Obviously New Look and Primark and other ones also have shoes departments but I personally never bought shoes there since I do not consider the quality being the best (unless you need something for work). If you generally need something for work (not office job apparently) and you don’t really care about the quality I suggest you visiting Shoe Zone, Priceless Shoes and similar stores where you are unlikely to pay any more than £10 for a pair.
