Eating at home is not cool. Getting a tasty meal in one of the best restaurants in the city is way cooler. Do you know what is even better? Never paying full price on your restaurant bill! Getting new clothes is cool! Especially if they have a famous brand attached to them but sometimes the price is just too steep and you might need to save money for some time in order to get what you actually want. New TV, new laptop, pampering sessions or even a haircut – these are all cool things on which you should never pay the price. If you follow my advice, you can get everything I already mentioned half price and even cheaper.
Follow this every day, and I promise, you will be able to afford much more than you could ever before!
First thing in the morning, check out the Ebay Daily Deal. This is your chance to buy a variety of stuff for around half price! Ebay daily deals in the UK start at 8.00AM and if the item on offer is on a really good price, they might sell out really quickly. And also if the deal is clothes related, make sure you check it out ASAP as they run out of the most popular sizes very quickly! Ebay also does weekly deals which usually offer you around 30% discount on different stuff.
Group shopping powered websites
These are websites which offer national and city specific daily deals. For example, one day there might be an offer in one of Edinburgh’s restaurants, which will give you a saving of 60% off the bill, but in London you will be offered 50% of sunglasses in one of the local opticians.
It is simple: you pay lower price, say £18, and then you receive a voucher of a value of £50. All you need to do is to make a reservation and mention that you have hold a deal voucher. On the day you will receive a discount equal to the value of your voucher. There are no hidden costs and no other additional fees! However, carefully read through the terms and conditions. Some restaurants might let you use their vouchers on starters, sides and mains, but drinks or deserts may be excluded! In that case if you order a desert, even though you have not used up all of your voucher value, you will have to pay for your desert on the day.
In addition, all vouchers have an expiry date, usually within 2-3 months from the date of purchase. Make sure you use them on time.
Here is the list of websites I personally recommend checking daily. We have used all of them to purchase the vouchers and everything worked out fine. We have dined numerous of times everywhere in different cities around the UK, had massage, haircuts, played bowling, took bus tours, etc.
Just don’t forget to select your city after you check out the national deal! The only detriment is that you have to sign up on Groupon to check out their deals. However, believe me – all this hassle is totally worth it.
